About TRAWACA


TRAWACA wonten ing basa Jawa anggadhahi makna seratan ingkang saged kawaos malih kanthi gamblang lan cetha. Pramila, tembung TRAWACA kaginaaken minangka singkatan kanggé "Transliterasi Aksara Jawa Duta Wacana", inggih punika sawijining pakempalan penelitian, ingkang kawiwitan rikala taun 2016 wonten ing Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana Yogyakarta.
Pakempalan punika lair saking raos prihatin amargi budaya - utaminipun basa - Jawa lan sapanunggilanipun ingkang wonten ing Indhonésia, samsaya dangu samsaya luntur lan ical kénging ombyaking budaya manca ingkang mawarni-warni. Raos punika kairing déning pepinginan, kados pundi anggènipun saged ngetrapaken ilmu ingkang dipun gadhahi déning para anggota TRAWACA, inggih punika ilmu Informatika, kanggé ngupados lestantunipun budaya Nusantara ingkang adi luhung.
Awit punika, pakempalan TRAWACA tansah ngawontenaken penelitian ing bidhang Digital Humanities, kanggé nggayuh pepinginan bilih mangké sageda damel digitalisasi tumrap naskah-naskah ingkang kaserat nganggé aksara Jawa lan nyimpen isining naskah punika wonten ing wujud teks digital mawi aksara Jawa (UNICODE) lan ugi aksara Latin.

Javanese Annotation

Crowdsourcing event on labeling Javanese characters of OCR segmentation result. This event is supported by Wikimedia Indonesia with participants from all over Indonesia.
This event has been finished and is currently inactive.

Cakra OCR

Initial release of Cakra OCR Web Application. Cakra is supposed to do OCR on printed Javanese manuscripts only.
