TRAWACA is a research team focused on Indonesian culture preservation, especially Javanese language and writing system.
TRAWACA wonten ing basa Jawa anggadhahi makna seratan ingkang saged kawaos malih kanthi gamblang lan cetha. Pramila, tembung TRAWACA kaginaaken minangka singkatan kanggé "Transliterasi Aksara Jawa Duta Wacana", inggih punika sawijining pakempalan penelitian, ingkang kawiwitan rikala taun 2016 wonten ing Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana Yogyakarta.
Pakempalan punika lair saking raos prihatin amargi budaya - utaminipun basa - Jawa lan sapanunggilanipun ingkang wonten ing Indhonésia, samsaya dangu samsaya luntur lan ical kénging ombyaking budaya manca ingkang mawarni-warni. Awit punika, pakempalan TRAWACA tansah ngawontenaken penelitian ing bidhang Digital Humanities, kanggé nggayuh pepinginan bilih mangké sageda damel digitalisasi tumrap naskah-naskah ingkang kaserat nganggé aksara Jawa lan nyimpen isining naskah punika wonten ing wujud teks digital mawi aksara Jawa (UNICODE) lan ugi aksara Latin.
